Who am I?

I live in Łódź, Poland, where I build web applications.

My journey started with pixels, not code. I was a graphic designer who obsessed over kerning and color theory. Then I discovered I could actually build the interfaces I was designing, so I learned to code. It turns out that having a design background makes you surprisingly good at frontend development because you understand why that button needs more breathing room.

Frontend frameworks are my weapon of choice. Combined with strong UX skills from my design days, I can bridge that gap between “it works” and “users don’t want to throw their laptop out the window.”

That’s why better-frontend.dev exists. I kept solving problems and forgetting the solutions, only to recall them six months later. So I started documenting everything. My battles with vulnerabilities, migrations, architecture, and UX decisions seemed evident in hindsight. It turns out that it helps other developers, too.

Today I work at a large tech corporation, building enterprise applications and trying to make software slightly less soul-crushing. When I’m not doing that, I’m exploring whatever catches my attention next, because you never run out of new things to learn in this field. Or new ways for builds to break.

For developers who've debugged enough production fires to know that frontend architecture, security, and UX actually deserve serious thought.
